"The Buildings"

Below is an aerial photograph of the entire Fort Loudon Dam construction site.  To give perspective on the photograph, the bridge over the river is about 300 feet in front of where the dam will ultimately stand.  The red dot shows where the overlook parking lot is located now.  The red number one indicates the road leading to the park that we still use today.  The area where the concentration of streets and buildings are located is now the large grass area on your left as you enter the park area.   The large structure located across the top of the photograph was the conveyer system used in the concrete mixing operation.
